Lowering a Q7, SQ7, Q8 or RS Q8 can change the proportions of the whole SUV. Refine the stance at each axle

Virtual Link B1 provides front and rear adjustment, saved profiles and supported factory-mode mapping. Corner calibration establishes the baseline, then axle adjustments let you choose the rake, or front-to-rear balance, you prefer. That matters when reducing the wheel gap at only one end would leave the overall stance looking unfinished. Balance the axles, establish the corners

A front/rear profile controls the overall stance. Corner calibration establishes the starting reference; it is not a substitute for checking the loaded vehicle.

Keep separate settings for different uses

Start with a cruising height that works for the SUV's ordinary routine. Evaluate it with the usual passengers and cargo, rather than choosing solely from an empty-vehicle photo. Save that profile as your everyday reference. You can then keep a lower parked position for presentation, including the air-out appearance available within the particular suspension's range. Installation depends on the platform

Q7 and Q8 routing is not interchangeable in every detail. B1 fitting includes ride-height sensor connections, protected harness routing and trunk connections. Follow the matching installation section for the body and platform. Include preparation, calibration and an operational check in the installation plan. If links are already fitted, they can stay, but their mechanical offset should be understood. What about towing and everyday clearance?

Check garage entrances across the whole vehicle, including the approach and the change in slope. A setting that clears a front bumper can still create another contact point farther underneath. If you tow, follow the vehicle's towing instructions and review the modified configuration with the installer. Height control does not increase payload or towing capacity.
